Noluntu is the founder and managing director of Y’mani.
An admitted attorney with a Master’s degree in Income Tax Law and an MBA, Noluntu has worked in both the private and public sectors. Most of her adult life was spent in the public sector in the Office of the FAIS Ombud, (FAIS Ombud), a schedule 3 (a) entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act, (PFMA) investigating consumer complaints against financial services providers. For eight years Noluntu led the institution.
Noluntu has extensive background in the financial services environment, having worked for two well-known life assurers before joining the FAIS Ombud. She is certified financial planner.
Noluntu has not only read about the financial services environment and its regulation from text books and articles, her tuition and perhaps, the most powerful, came from dealing with consumer complaints
If you can dream, you consume financial products, you are Y’mani.
That is why Y’mani chose to use story-telling in delivering its message to consumers. The stories are not rocket science as many people can easily identify with them.
The background of resolving complaints is perhaps the main driver behind Noluntu’s decision to set up Y’mani; to positively influence people’s lives by sharing human stories.
